Discover the beauty of the East Kimberley on this full-day Lake Argyle and Ord River cruise. Travel through Durack country, visit the historic homestead, and enjoy a 55km scenic river journey back to Kununurra with afternoon tea.
Depart your accommodation at 11:30am and travel by coach through iconic Durack country to Lake Argyle (70km). Stop at the historic Durack Homestead Museum, a faithful reconstruction of the original family home built from the original stone.
Continue to Lake Argyle to enjoy breathtaking views from the lookout before crossing the Ord Top Dam wall. See the Ord Hydro Power Station, then board your Triple J Tours boat for a spectacular 55km cruise down the Ord River back to Kununurra.
Take in the ever-changing scenery, abundant wildlife, and lush river system, spot freshwater crocodiles, wallabies, and birdlife. Enjoy a refreshing afternoon tea at our tranquil riverside camp before cruising into the sunset, watching the colors of the East Kimberley come alive.
Your tour concludes around 6:00pm with a comfortable transfer back to your accommodation, an unforgettable day on the mighty Ord River.
